Description

Students should be concurrently working on this script while the imovie PSA is being created. The students should switch off from working on the movie to working on this script, because the script has a major individual component. If there were enough computers available, I had students type this assignment, because then they could add on the last person's work. There should be names next to each person in the final script and it should be similar in format to a script for a play. It is helpful to have a separate highlighted copy for each group member.

Author Reflections

It was hard to get kids focused on this, because most group members were working on the imovie, but there was at least one student in every group who had nothing to do, because their groupmates were leading making the PSA movie. It was helpful to have this script so that multiple students can be working at a time and so that it forces students who are particularly technologically savvy to give up the imovie and let other groupmates work on it while they do their script.
