Project Exchange
ACTIVITY: Reflection
Project: California, Who Are You?
SUMMARY
Goals
Details
Duration: 45 minutes
Assessments: Student reflections/journals
Description
This is the most valuable portion of any project (in my opinion), because it students to find aspects that they can be proud of and also it helps them to grow as learners. I gave this as a homework assignment the night after the presentations so that students could take this home and work on it without feeling the pressures of time and also so that they can be as honest and detailed as possible. I collected it the next day in class and looked over it before completing final assessments for the project.

Author Reflections
I always read these before I finish completing final assessments for projects. The insights that you read are invaluable insights into the process that the student took as a learner and a collaborator.
