Description

These are materials used to guide the students through the process of writing the introduction to their essays. The process includes discussion of the 'elements' of an introduction, models/examples/styles, and prompts to get the students started.

The Assignment instructs students to include:
* An extensive introduction that explores the themes and concerns that your paper will address. This introduction should be a broad overview and make connections to your personal experiences and observations.
* A clear thesis/argument that presents your point of view on the central question.
