Description

Students create an information/advocacy poster on an alternative energy source. The poster must include a brief description of the energy source, and three benefits of using this form of energy.

Digital Media: Students learn about the role of balance, and color in design. Students look at different examples of design in art and advertising, and reflect on the affects of balance, color, and images on the emotional response of the viewer.

Science: Students research renewable energy sources and the impact they have on the environment. They write a summary of the how energy transfer occurs to create usable energy, and what the benefits and consequences are of the process.
