Description
Once a group had completed all of the tasks on their checklist through #3 (production design plan, script and storyboard,) they chose their location and started rehearsing. I brought in various costumes and props for the students to use and I encouraged them to bring in their own as well. All groups chose locations in or around the school building so that I could rotate from group to group and check in with them. When students were ready to shoot, I would first watch their scene and check them off for #4. Then either I or our tech support staff member would actually shoot their scene. The original plan was for students to shoot their own scenes and then edit them into finished products in iMovie. Due to our limited technology access, however, we had to do in-camera editing and weren't able to create as cleanly finished products as we would have liked. Once the filming was completed, the videos were loaded into iMovie and credits were added.

REFLECTIONS & COMMENTS
Author Reflections
This section of the project wouldn't have been possible without at least one more pair of hands on deck. Chris, the tech person on staff, was extremely helpful with filming scenes and processing the footage. It was a bit chaotic with groups rehearsing and filming all over the building with a few groups outside, but it worked out. There were a number of groups that didn't manage to finish their filming during class time, so we had to shoot during lunch or after school a number of times. Also, during the final week, there were a few periods set aside for exhibition prep, so I was able to pull groups of students during thos periods to finsh shooting. This is definitely a project that will bleed outside the time constraints of class time.
