Duration: 120 minutes

Description

Students were divided into 3 panel groups. All of the commentaries of a particular group were played and then each panel member read his/her artist statement. After reading their artist statements, time was supposed to be allocated for questions from the audience (see sample questions below). Due to time constraints, most panels did not have enough time for the Q & A session.

REFLECTIONS & COMMENTS

Author Reflections

Time constraints. It might have been better to allow for the Q&A session instead of having students present their artist statements. We did want a live presentation piece, which is why we included the artist statement. Both audience members and students however, felt there should have been more time for Q & A.
