Description
In this critical lens/reflective essay assignment students discussed the novel as an allegory, identifying how the characters, events, and environments represent deeper truths than what is seen in the surface of the story. Students are expected to cite evidence from the novel and discuss the authors use of literary elements and devices to deliver his message.
